The COVID Plan
So we are all on the same page.
We are so excited for camp! We want to share some of the measures we will be taking to ensure camp is as safe as possible. Please review the COVID Check-In Form that will need to be completed upon arrival for each camper. The COVID Check-In Form is available for viewing on the camp website on the registration page. Please note, if your child is symptomatic at camp we will call for them to be picked up. This will be at the nurse and director’s discretion and is nonnegotiable. Symptomatic campers will only be permitted to return to camp with proof of a negative COVID-19 test. If a camper or staff member tests positive, we will contact trace. If your camper is identified as being exposed, he or she will be sent home.
There will be no refunds for campers sent home. This is the risk you take in 2021 when sending your child to Midsummer Bible Camp. It’s also worth noting that we will do our best to respect the privacy of anyone who is symptomatic. We will not release the names of anyone who tests positive or is sent home because of COVID or any other communicable illness.
Here’s what we will be doing in the camp setting as of April 25, 2021.
Bunk Beds will be spaced out and sleeping configurations will be made to minimize the chance of transmission.
Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the camp
We will spend lots of time in the fresh camp air!
Masks will be available for campers but are not required.
Social distance will not be maintained due to the nature of camp
*Please know that our COVID plan may change at any time without notice.
